Shipping & Delivery

HELP, MY SHIPPING ADDRESS IS WRONG!
We’ll help you get your candy to the right place. Send us an email at hello@arewatreats.co.nz with your order number.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
We can ship our products to Australia, Oceania, Europe and North America.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PACKAGE?
We aim to have delivery to you within 2 - 5 business days of your orders being processed. International delivery various by courier.
CAN I SHIP TO PO BOXES?
At this time we are unable to ship to PO Boxes.
WHAT SHIPPING METHODS ARE AVAILABLE?
We ship our packages via most couriers in New Zealand. A signature may be required to accept your package.
DO YOU OFFER LOCAL PICKUP?
We do not offer local pickup to our customers except during busy periods such as Easter and Christmas.
 

Payment

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?
We accept all major cards such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We also accept payments via LayBuy, PayPal and POLi.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY PAYMENT IS DECLINED?
Here are a few things to check if your payment didn’t go through: Check that your card’s billing details (such as the security code and billing address) match what you’ve entered into our system.
DO I RECEIVE AN INVOICE FOR MY ORDER
Yes, you will receive an invoice and confirmation of your order. If you do not receive notification promptly, first check your spam folder in your email in case this has prevented our email reaching you. Online ordering emails will come from hello@arewatreats.co.nz, so maybe add us to your contacts.
If you still have not received confirmation – please contact our Treats Experience team at hello@arewatreats.co.nz. Please provide your order reference number when contacting us.

Orders and Returns

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
You can browse our collections of candies and chocolates on our product pages. When you have found the product you wish to purchase, select the quantity and add to cart. You can proceed to checkout by clicking the shopping bag icon. If you need further help – please contact our Treats Experience team at hello@arewatreats.co.nz.
WHO SHOULD I TO CONTACT IF I HAVE ANY QUERIES?
If you have queries about your packages or need more information, please contact our Treats Experience team at hello@arewatreats.co.nz.
HOW CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?
Once an order has been processed we do not normally accept cancellations or changes. If you have questions about your order, please contact our Treats Experience team at hello@arewatreats.co.nz and be sure to include your order number for reference. Our team would be more than happy to assist you!
WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
Because candy is perishable, we are not able to accept returns. If your candy arrives damaged, we will replace the damaged candy or refund your money.

Account

DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT TO SHOP ON YOUR SITE?
You can browse the site and checkout as a guest. However, for a better experience, we recommend that you register for an account. To do this, click the Register button on the home page (link) and fill in the registration form.
I HAVE FORGOTTEN MY PASSWORD, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Click the login button on the home page and then select “Forgotten Password”. We will prompt you to enter your registered email address to which a temporary password will be sent. Use this to login and update your password in My Details.

Products

CAN I REFRIGERATE OR FREEZE MY CANDY?
We do not recommend refrigerating or freezing your candy as this causes changes to the appearance and texture of the candy.
WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR INGREDIENTS LIST
You can find the ingredients on most of our product pages in the "Ingredients" tab, under the product description and dietary information. For more information, please contact our Treats Experience team at hello@arewatreats.co.nz.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR CANDY?
To maximize the shelf life of our candies, we recommend properly storing your candy in a cool, dry place around 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, away from direct heat or sunlight.
DOES YOUR CANDIES CONTAIN ALCOHOL?
Most of our candies do not contain alcohol in the ingredients. For those that contain alcohol, the alcohol content is cooked out during the candy making process and is perfectly safe for consumption by minors or people who cannot consume alcohol.

Any of our products with alcohol will have the information on the packaging.

ARE YOUR CANDIES ALLERGY FRIENDLY?
We offer a variety of candies that are all natural, without artificial flavours and colours, GMO-free and fat-free. However, since our packaging site is not certified allergen free, we can’t guarantee that our candies haven’t been in contact with food allergens such as dairy, gluten, eggs, wheat and nuts.

If you have a severe allergy, we recommend you avoid our candy.
