An order made on arewatreats.co.nz is an offer to purchase one or more products.

When we receive a valid order from you, we will accept this offer by confirming by email that we have received and are processing the order.

We will deliver the products set out in your order almost anywhere in New Zealand. We do not deliver outside New Zealand.

We will endeavour to deliver all products within 2 to 5 business working days of your order being processed. We will notify you via the email address you used at checkout if there is likely to be a significant delay to fulfilling your order (for example, the product is out of stock or the delivery location is remote/rural). You have the right to cancel the order (or any part of it) and you will receive a refund (including the applicable delivery charges).

We will not otherwise be liable to you for any damages, costs or expenses of any kind, suffered or incurred by you due to the order not being fulfilled or the products not being delivered within the anticipated delivery time.

In some cases the anticipated delivery charges (if applicable) may be higher than the delivery charge on our website. For example, the products are heavy/large, or the delivery is to a rural location). We will notify you if the actual delivery charges are higher than those anticipated, in which case you may cancel the order (or any part of it) prior to delivery and receive a refund (including the applicable delivery charges) in respect of the cancelled order.

 

Shipping Fees

The delivery charge is $6.50 to the South Island and $8 to the North Island, with some exceptions*.

* Please note also that deliveries to the Outer Islands (the Chatham Islands, Stewart Island, Kawau Island, Waiheke Island, Matakana Island, Great Barrier Island and d’Urville Island) may incur additional costs.

*Applies to packages under 3kg. The delivery charge for packages over 3kg is $8 to the South Island and $9.50 to the North Island.

* Special offer periods may apply.

Shipping fees include handling, packaging and delivery to the address provided at checkout.

At this time we cannot deliver to APO/FPO addresses or PO Boxes.

 

Free Shipping

We offer free delivery on orders over $50 with some restrictions*.

* Deliveries to the Outer Islands (the Chatham Islands, Stewart Island, Kawau Island, Waiheke Island, Matakana Island, Great Barrier Island and d’Urville Island) are excluded from the promotion and may incur additional costs in addition to the standard delivery charge.

* Limited to a maximum weight of 3kg.

 

Shipping Information

We ship orders Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, and process in stock orders the following business day. Orders received on Saturday or Sunday will be processed on the following Monday.

Please note that orders will not be processed or shipped on bank holidays.

Please be advised, Arewà Treats cannot guarantee the exact time an order will be delivered.

 

Shipping in Warm Weather

We take the extra steps to guarantee your sweets arrive in a manner that will ensure food safety and preserve quality. During warm months, we recommend sending your sweets to a cool place like a business address, so they’re not left outside.

Severe weather may cause shipping delays. We regret that we are not able to guarantee express delivery in the event of severe weather.

 

Local Pick-Up

We offer local pickup to customers who can collect their order from our Christchurch location. If you would like to use this service, please select pickup from checkout. Please note that you can only checkout using a debit or credit card for pickup orders.

Upon confirmation of your order, you will receive an email with instructions on how to pick up your order. You are required to bring proof of your order confirmation.

Our business is constantly evolving, and we need to ensure we keep New Zealand safe during Covid-19 pandemic. Please remain in your car and we will bring our order to you.
